The lower portion of Wli Falls is a serene and accessible part of this natural wonder. From the reception area, the journey covers 2.2 kilometers through a lush, tree-covered landscape.
This path is relatively easy, following level ground that makes it a leisurely and pleasant experience for visitors of all ages. The Lower Falls creates a peaceful ambiance amidst the surrounding greenery.

Trail Details
Reaching the Upper Falls requires a more strenuous effort involving hiking and climbing. There are two routes available: the short route and the long route (loop).
The short route is steep and demanding, while the long route offers a gradual ascent with spectacular scenic viewpoints. The hike takes 3-4 hours depending on experience and physical condition.

Power
If you are bringing along any electrical appliances, they should operate on or be adaptable to 220/240 volts. Electric outlets in Ghana accept either 3 pronged or sometimes 2-pronged British or Continental European type plugs or converters.
Currency
Ghana's currency is the cedi which comes in denominations of GHC 200, 100, 50, 20, 10, 5, 2 and 1. Coins come in denominations of GHC 2 and 1 and also 50p, 20p, 10p, 5p & 1 pesewas.
Foreign currency can be freely exchanged at any Bank or Forex Bureaux in the country.

Bounded on the South by the Atlantic Ocean and on the West by La Cote d'Ivoire, the East by Togo and the North by Burkina Faso, Ghana is a tropical country. The South Western part is located within the warm wet forest zone similar to the Amazon. Accra, the capital, is located in the dry equatorial zones. Kumasi is in the wet savanna. It lies between 4° and 11° North at the equator and has a coastline of 540 km.

La balade jusqu'à la chute est déjà un voyage en soi : sentiers, ponts suspendus et petites surprises de la forêt vous accompagnent jusqu’à ce rideau d’eau impressionnant de plus de 80 mètres de haut.

The longest waterfall in West Africa, featuring a beautiful natural pool at its base that’s perfect for swimming. The only real challenge is the approximately 30-minute walk, which involves crossing nine rivers on foot. However, the journey is absolutely worth it once you reach the destination.
Customer service at the reception is excellent, special appreciation to Elorm for the warm hospitality. There are also comfortable accommodation options within and around the tourist area. Overall, it’s a fantastic place and highly recommended as a top tourist destination.
